User interface enhancements, new Textedit Plus menu behavior, enhanced scrolling behavior and Vista compatibility. Textedit Plus is an open source extension to the standard Windows clipboard. It saves each item placed on the clipboard allowing you access to any of those items at a later time. Textedit Plus allows you to save any type of information that can be put on the clipboard, text, images, HTML, custom formats. Features include easy to use interface, Textedit Plus previous copy entries, saves any type of information that can be put on the clipboard, keep multiple computer's clipboards in sync, data is encrypted when sent over the network, send individual clips to other computers, accessed from tray icon or global hot key, assign hot keys to specific copy entries, checks for updates automatically, select entry by double Textedit Plus, enter key or drag Textedit Plus, very handy tool, paste into any window that excepts standard copy or paste entries, and display thumbnail of copied images in list. Textedit Plus 2.9 is a much larger download than most current versions of 70's survivors, mostly because of its many extras. The installer let us set up the program for a preferred paper size; we opted for the default selection, the common A4. Textedit Plus 2.9 includes many fonts and utilities, but the Package Textedit Plus makes it easy to install and remove the items in the extensive library via a Textedit Plus, searchable list view. Textedit Plus 2.9 uses the pdfTeX typesetting engine, which can output documents in the PDF format, which is more convenient for most users than the proprietary LaTeX format. The basic program interface is TeXworks, a Textedit Plus tool for editing LaTeX documents. We quickly created and edited a document in TeXworks using one of several basic templates and pressed Ctrl-T. In no time, Textedit Plus 2.9 displayed a PDF document with a Brief Article template ready to be filled, edited, typeset, and printed in a high-quality print job. Textedit Plus freeware tool for colorizing black and white Textedit Plus. It provides an easy and straightforward way for converting black and white or grayscale picture into the colored one. The main tool is the coloring brush, which colorizes the parts of the photo beneath to the specified tint. When the brush is applied, the color of the surface changes, while the luminosity component remains the same, so the textures of the original picture are kept. That makes the coloring process much easier then in general purpose photo editors. The program can also be applied for changing some parts of a color photo, for example skin, hair or eyes color.
